Experienced Baker in Malindi, Kenya

We are seeking an experienced Baker to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods. This role requires someone with a passion for baking and extensive knowledge of different baking techniques and ingredients.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare doughs and batters according to recipes
- Bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods
- Decorate cakes and other desserts as needed
- Monitor oven temperatures and adjust as necessary
- Ensure proper food safety and sanitation procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies
- Train new bakery staff on baking techniques and recipes

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Baker in a busy bakery or restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of various baking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to ensure products are ready for sale on time
- Good communication skills in English (French is an asset)
- Must be willing to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays
