Quality Assurance Engineer


Our growing software development company is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Lahore. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through thorough testing and identifying any bugs or issues. This is a contract position with a salary of 900$. We do not provide accommodation or visa sponsorship, so candidates must have their own valid visa to work in Lahore. This is an urgent position and we are looking for someone who can join our team immediately.

Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test cases to ensure the functionality and usability of our software products
- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve any bugs or issues in a timely manner
- Conduct regression testing on existing features after updates or changes have been made
- Document and track defects, as well as provide detailed reports on testing results
- Continuously improve QA processes and procedures to ensure the highest level of quality in our products
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for software testing

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with manual and automated testing techniques
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- ISTQB certification or other relevant certifications in software testing
- Knowledge of SQL databases
- Experience with mobile app testing
