IT Support Specialist

We are in need of an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team in Lisbon. This individual will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients and ensuring the smooth operation of their computer systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer systems and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in person
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
- Install and configure computer systems and peripherals
- Train clients on how to use new technology or software
- Perform regular maintenance on computer systems
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and resolutions
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve complex issues

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and operating systems (Windows, MacOS)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical issues in simple terms
- Customer-oriented attitude with a passion for helping others
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, Azure)
- Fluency in Portuguese is a plus
