Senior JAVA Developer

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior JAVA Developer to join our dynamic team in Lisbon. As a Senior JAVA Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex JAVA applications in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Your main focus will be on creating efficient and scalable code while ensuring the highest level of software quality.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality JAVA applications according to project requirements
- Write clean, efficient, and optimized code that meets coding standards
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design solutions that meet business needs
- Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in software development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a JAVA Developer
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
- Proficient in Core JAVA, Spring framework, Hibernate ORM, JSP/Servlets, HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Experience with Agile methodologies and continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-based technologies (e.g. AWS)
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Angular or React
- Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL)

Salary: This is a contract job offering a competitive salary of 1800$ per month.

Location: This position is based in Lisbon, Portugal.
