Junior Android Developer



We are searching for a Junior Android Developer to join our dynamic team in Lisbon. As a Junior Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve application performance
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in mobile development
- Contribute to the entire app development lifecycle from concept to launch
- Ensure code quality through unit testing and code reviews

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong understanding of Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Knowledge of Android SDK and experience with Android Studio
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles and Material Design guidelines
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN
- Understanding of Agile methodologies for software development
- Knowledge of Google Play Store policies and submission process
- Familiarity with Firebase, Google Maps API or other third-party libraries for Android development

We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month along with visa sponsorship for non-EU applicants. Although accommodation is not provided, we can assist in finding suitable housing options.
