Equipment Operator

An established construction company in Funchal is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team on a contract basis. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery, such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders. You will work closely with our construction team to ensure that all equipment is operated safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, and loaders
- Complete daily maintenance checks on equipment
- Safely load and unload materials using the equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment
- Assist with general construction tasks when not operating equipment

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Equipment Operator
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to operate various types of heavy machinery
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to heavy equipment operation
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $1500 per month for this position. In addition, we will provide accommodation for the duration of the contract.

This position is based in Funchal, Portugal.
