Part-time Heavy Equipment Operator in Funchal


We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Funchal. In this part-time position, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. Your main duties will include maneuvering equipment to complete tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials. You must have previous experience as a heavy equipment operator and be able to work efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to job site regulations
- Perform daily pre- and post-operation checks on equipment
- Follow specific instructions from supervisors on site
- Maneuver equipment to complete tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials
- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment by reporting any issues or malfunctions immediately
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a heavy equipment operator
- Ability to read and interpret job plans and instructions
- Strong knowledge of operating different types of heavy machinery
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High school diploma or equivalent

Salary:
This part-time position offers a salary of $1200 per month.

Location:
The job is located in the beautiful city of Funchal. Applicants must be able to commute or reside within the city.
