As a Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of commercial buildings in Funchal. Your main duties will include creating detailed plans and blueprints, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations, and collaborating with clients and contractors to bring their vision to life.

To excel in this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial architecture, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills. A bachelor's degree in Architecture is required, and a master's degree is preferred. You should also have knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other architectural software.

Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential for success in this position. You should also be familiar with local building codes and regulations in Funchal.

This position offers a salary of 1300$ per month without accommodation. However, you must have a valid biometric passport as frequent travel may be required for site visits and meetings with clients.

This job is suitable for men who are physically fit as it may involve walking around construction sites and carrying heavy materials. While not mandatory, fluency in Portuguese would be an advantage as most contractors in Funchal speak the language.
