Senior Architect for Part-Time Position in Funchal

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Architect to join our team on a part-time basis in Funchal. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing architectural projects, ensuring their successful completion within budget and on schedule. Your expertise in design, construction methods, and building codes will be essential in guiding the team towards delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to client requirements and project scope
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop project plans and designs
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Create detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and blueprints using AutoCAD or other software
- Provide guidance to junior architects and interns on technical aspects of projects
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to incorporate into design solutions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Senior Architect on commercial or residential projects
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other architectural software
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, construction methods, materials, and industry standards
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to clients and team members

Salary: The salary for this part-time position is 1100$ per month.

Location: This position is based in Funchal. Candidates must have the legal right to work in Portugal without requiring sponsorship.

Working Hours: This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. The exact schedule will be determined based on project needs.
