We are seeking a seasonal truck driver to join our team in Funchal. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or individuals without previous truck driving experience to gain valuable skills and experience in the transportation industry.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maintain commercial trucks to transport goods and materials
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting any issues or damages
- Load and unload cargo using equipment such as forklifts or hand trucks
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers
- Keep detailed records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Physically fit to handle loading/unloading of cargo
- Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese proficiency is a plus)
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Compensation:
This is a seasonal job with a salary of 1600$ per month. Housing may be provided for out-of-town employees.
