Part-Time Accountant in Braga, Portugal



We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Accountant to join our team in Braga, Portugal. As an accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of our company. This is a part-time position, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time in the future.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations
- Communicate with clients regarding their accounts and answer any financial inquiries
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Collaborate with other team members to streamline financial processes

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficient in using accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, etc.)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluent in Portuguese (both written and verbal)
- Biometric passport for identification purposes
