English Language Teacher - Braga, Portugal


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced English Language Teacher to join our language school in Braga, Portugal. Our ideal candidate is a native English speaker with a strong passion for teaching and the ability to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment for students.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality English language lessons to students of various ages and levels
- Utilize a variety of teaching techniques and materials to cater to different learning styles
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback on their development
- Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages participation and promotes learning
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and any concerns
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop curriculum, lesson plans, and assessments

Requirements:
- Native English speaker or near-native proficiency in English
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics or related field
- Teaching certification (e.g. TEFL, TESOL)
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably with students of various ages and levels
- Strong understanding of language acquisition theories and methodologies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
