Information Security Analyst


As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our organization's information assets. You will work closely with our IT team to identify potential security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and a strong understanding of industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security threats
- Develop and maintain information security policies and procedures
- Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security incidents in a timely manner
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and ensure compliance with regulations
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies, and make recommendations for improvement
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure business continuity
- Provide training on information security awareness to employees at all levels of the organization

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in information security or a related field
- Strong working knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security technologies
- Experience conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk assessments
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, or COBIT
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable
- Experience working with biometric passport systems is a plus

Location:
This position is located in Porto, Portugal. Relocation assistance may be provided for the right candidate.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month.
