Caregiver Assistant - Porto, Portugal

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Assistant to join our team in providing quality care to our elderly residents. As a caregiver assistant, you will assist with daily activities, provide companionship, and help maintain a safe and comfortable environment for our residents. This is an entry-level position and no prior experience is required. We are looking for someone who is reliable, patient, and has a genuine interest in working with older adults. This is an urgent job opening with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Help with meal preparation and feeding if needed
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with residents
- Monitor resident's health and report any changes to the supervising nurse or doctor
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up living spaces
- Follow care plans and accurately document any observations or incidents

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of personal care tasks (training will be provided)
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (Portuguese proficiency is a plus)
- Must be legally allowed to work in Portugal
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed
