Part-time Caregiver for Elderly in Porto


We are seeking a caring and compassionate Part-time Caregiver to provide assistance and support to an elderly individual in Porto. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for helping with daily tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders. The ideal candidate should have a genuine interest in the well-being of seniors and be able to provide companionship and emotional support.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions
- Provide medication reminders
- Accompany client on walks or other activities
- Engage in conversation and provide companionship
- Help with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up
- Monitor client's health status and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role is preferred but not required
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to communicate effectively with seniors
- Basic knowledge of personal care routines for seniors
- Good time management skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in Porto

Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position with flexible hours. The caregiver will work an average of 20 hours per week. The schedule will be discussed during the interview process. The salary for this position is 900$ per month.
