Job Title: Concrete Worker


Our construction company in Faro is seeking an experienced Concrete Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for pouring, smoothing, and finishing concrete surfaces for various projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare the worksite by setting up forms and ensuring proper measurements
- Pour concrete into forms and use appropriate tools to smooth and level the surface
- Finish the concrete by using hand or power trowels, brushes, or other tools as needed
- Apply curing compounds or sealers to the finished surface to protect against weathering and water damage
- Monitor the drying process and make any necessary adjustments to ensure a quality finish
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate protective gear at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Concrete Worker or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Knowledge of different types of concrete mixes and their purposes is a plus
