Heavy Equipment Operator - Almada, Portugal



As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders to perform various tasks on construction sites. You will work alongside a team of skilled professionals to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment according to project requirements and safety regulations
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery
- Transport materials and equipment to different areas of the construction site
- Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Complete daily logs and reports on equipment usage and job progress

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Heavy Equipment Operator license/certification
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery (preferred)
- Knowledge of construction site safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings
- Strong communication skills
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this contract job.

Location:
This position is based in Almada, Portugal. However, there may be opportunities for travel within the country for different projects.
