Architectural Technologist



We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting the architect in designing and planning building projects, including creating detailed drawings and models.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects to develop design concepts and plans for building projects
- Create detailed drawings, models, and specifications using CAD software
- Review and analyze building codes and regulations to ensure compliance
- Conduct site visits to gather information for project design
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and incorporate their feedback into designs
- Work closely with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project success
- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and construction techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist or similar role
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and other design tools
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working on residential or commercial projects in Portugal
- Knowledge of sustainability principles in building design
- Experience with BIM software (ArchiCAD)

This is a part-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month. Candidates must have a biometric passport or be eligible to obtain one.
