Part-Time Florist Assistant

As a part-time florist assistant, you will work closely with our experienced florists to create beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with the preparation and maintenance of flowers, arranging bouquets and centerpieces, and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

To excel in this role, you should have a passion for flowers and creativity, as well as attention to detail. While previous experience is not required, it would be beneficial. We are looking for someone who is available to work part-time hours in the afternoons and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation of flowers by cutting stems, removing thorns, and conditioning them
- Arranging flowers into bouquets, centerpieces, and other arrangements according to the instructions given by our florists
- Maintaining the freshness and quality of flowers by watering them regularly and removing wilted ones
- Providing friendly customer service by helping customers choose the right floral arrangements for their needs
- Handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Keeping the shop clean and organized at all times

Requirements:
- Passion for flowers and creativity
- Attention to detail
- Availability to work part-time hours in the afternoons and weekends
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
