Radio Technician
As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of radio communication systems. Your duties will include troubleshooting technical issues, performing routine maintenance checks, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will also be required to keep accurate records of work performed and communicate effectively with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and test radio equipment to identify any malfunctions or defects
- Perform repairs on radio communication systems as needed
- Install and configure new radio equipment and systems
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of equipment
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and concerns
- Adhere to safety regulations and procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Radio Technician or in a similar role
- Sound knowledge of radio communication systems and equipment
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Own visa or ability to obtain one for working in Almada
Salary:
1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location:
Almada, Portugal (preference for Portuguese nationals but open to applicants with valid work visas)
Contract Type:
Full-time (40 hours per week), contract position
Experience Required:
Minimum 2 years experience in radio technician or related field.
