Junior Developer - Svalbard (Contract)


We are a dynamic and growing tech company based in Svalbard, seeking a motivated Junior Developer to join our team. As a Junior Developer, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of our software applications. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$ per month. Accommodation, visa, and travel ticket will be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Work with senior developers to design, code, test, and debug software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new features and improve existing ones.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Assist in the development of technical documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software development.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in software development.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages (such as Java, Python, or C++).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.

Preferred:
- Experience working on web-based applications.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with database management systems.
