Typesetter (Contract Position)
Location: Svalbard, Norway


We are seeking a skilled typesetter to join our team on a contract basis. As a typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for various publications, including books, magazines, and newspapers. This is an excellent opportunity for students or individuals with experience in the publishing industry.

Responsibilities:
- Format text and images according to specific design templates and guidelines
- Proofread and edit content for accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure high-quality final products
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in typesetting software

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in typesetting or publishing
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign or other similar software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design guidelines accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of $1100 per month.

Location:
The job is located in Svalbard, Norway. While nationality is not a strict requirement, preference will be given to candidates who are able to legally work in Norway.
