Junior Surveyor

As a Junior Surveyor, you will be responsible for assisting in surveying and mapping projects in the city of Svalbard. Your main duties will include collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports and maps, and assisting senior surveyors in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Assist senior surveyors in conducting field surveys to collect data
- Use specialized equipment to measure and map land features
- Analyze collected data and prepare reports and maps
- Help maintain accurate records of survey data
- Utilize GPS technology to accurately locate points on the ground
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure successful completion of projects
- Follow safety protocols at all times while working on site

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field preferable
- Prior experience is not required but some familiarity with surveying techniques is preferred
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using specialized equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, etc.
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary: $1600 per month

Location: Svalbard (accommodation not provided)
