Babysitter for Family in Svalbard

Our family is seeking a responsible and caring Babysitter to join our household in Svalbard. As a Babysitter, you will be responsible for providing safe and nurturing care for our children, aged 2 and 5.

Responsibilities:
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for our children
- Prepare meals and snacks for the children
- Help with basic household tasks such as tidying up after the children
- Engage in age-appropriate activities with the children, such as games, crafts, and outdoor play
- Provide assistance with homework or school assignments
- Administer medication if needed
- Follow any specific instructions given by parents regarding their children's care

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Babysitter or Nanny preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification a plus
- Must be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Good communication skills with both parents and children
- Ability to multitask and handle unexpected situations calmly
- Must be physically fit to keep up with active children

Working Hours:
This is a part-time position, with an average of 20 hours per week. The schedule will vary based on the parents' work schedules, but we will provide notice in advance.

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $1800 per month. This includes paid vacation time and sick leave.

Location:
Our family lives in Svalbard, a beautiful island located between mainland Norway and the North Pole. We are looking for someone who is comfortable living in this remote location.
