Android Developer



As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining cutting-edge mobile applications for our clients. You will work closely with a team of developers and designers to deliver high-quality, user-friendly apps that meet the needs of our clients. Your main focus will be on developing Android applications, but you may also be involved in other mobile development projects.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience in Android app development
- Proficient in Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Familiarity with continuous integration tools like Jenkins or Bamboo
- Knowledge of software design patterns such as MVP or MVVM
- Understanding of Material Design guidelines

Salary: 1300$ per month (part-time)

Location: Oslo (no accommodation provided)
