We are in need of a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Oslo. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text, images, and graphics for various printed materials such as books, magazines, and newspapers. Your attention to detail and proficiency in design software will ensure that the final product is visually appealing and error-free.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize design software (e.g. Adobe InDesign) to format text, images, and graphics for print
- Collaborate with editors, writers, and designers to ensure layout and content meet project requirements
- Proofread final drafts for errors in spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Make necessary adjustments to font size, style, spacing, etc. to achieve a cohesive layout
- Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and industry standards
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining the highest quality standards

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong understanding of typography principles
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly
- Good time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Portfolio of previous work showcasing your typesetting skills

Salary:
We are offering a salary of 1100$ per month for this position.

Location:
This job is located in Oslo. Please note that accommodation will not be provided.
