Preservation Architect (Part-Time)


Our architectural firm in Bergen is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Preservation Architect to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures. This role requires a keen eye for detail, knowledge of preservation techniques, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments and surveys of historical buildings
- Creating preservation plans and proposals
- Collaborating with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure successful restoration projects
- Conducting research on historical structures and materials
- Applying preservation techniques to maintain the integrity of historical buildings
- Keeping detailed records of all preservation work

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Previous experience in historic preservation preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of preservation techniques, materials, and methods
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with a strong eye for design
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $1800/month (pro-rated based on part-time hours)
