Registered Dietitian - Bergen, Norway


We are seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As a Registered Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing nutrition counseling and education to individuals and groups, as well as developing personalized meal plans based on their specific needs. Additionally, you will be involved in menu planning and food service management.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or community setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Fluency in Norwegian is preferred but not required

Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutrition assessments and develop individualized meal plans for clients with various medical conditions
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to individuals and groups on healthy eating habits, disease management, and prevention
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients/patients
- Participate in menu planning for patients/residents according to their dietary needs and restrictions
- Conduct regular audits of food service operations to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Keep up-to-date with current research and developments in the field of nutrition
- Maintain accurate records of patient/client progress
