Pastry Chef

A well-established bakery in Alta is seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef to join our team. We are looking for an experienced individual who has a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing pastries. The ideal candidate must have a strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare high-quality pastries and desserts for our bakery
- Develop new recipes and menu items
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure all pastries are presented in an attractive manner
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a professional kitchen
- In-depth knowledge of various pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to develop new recipes while adhering to established quality standards
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely production of pastries
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends

Qualifications:
-A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or relevant field
-Minimum 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef
-Knowledge of food safety regulations
-Food handling certification

Salary: $1800/month (negotiable based on experience)
