Junior Preservation Architect
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Preservation Architect to join our team in Monte-Carlo. As a Junior Preservation Architect, you will work closely with senior architects to assist in the preservation and restoration of historic buildings and structures.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on historical buildings and structures
- Assist in the development of preservation plans and proposals
- Help with the documentation and analysis of existing conditions
- Collaborate with senior architects on design concepts and solutions
- Prepare detailed drawings, models, and presentations for clients
- Coordinate with contractors and oversee construction work on preservation projects
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and historic preservation guidelines
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and techniques for historic preservation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Strong knowledge of architectural history and preservation principles
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other related software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Previous experience in historic preservation is a plus but not required
Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Monte-Carlo (accommodation can be provided if needed)
