Job Title: Fitter Technician

The Fitter Technician will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing various mechanical components in our workshop or on site. They must have experience working with hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, as well as a thorough understanding of safety procedures. This role may involve working in confined spaces or at heights, so physical fitness is also important.

Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install mechanical components according to technical drawings
- Repair or replace damaged parts using hand or power tools
- Test and adjust equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot issues and identify solutions
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a fitter or similar role
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Physical fitness for working in confined spaces or at heights
- Familiarity with safety procedures
- Good communication skills

Preferred:
- Experience in a workshop or industrial setting
- Trade certification in fitting or related field

This is a full-time position based in La-Condamine, with accommodation provided if needed.
