Reference Librarian



The Reference Librarian will play a crucial role in providing high-quality reference services to patrons in a dynamic and diverse library setting. This position is ideal for a motivated and customer service-oriented individual with a passion for connecting people with information.

Responsibilities:
- Assist patrons in locating and retrieving information from print and electronic resources
- Provide reference and research assistance to patrons, both in person and online
- Develop and maintain specialized collections in designated subject areas
- Create engaging displays and promote library resources through marketing initiatives
- Conduct library instruction sessions for individuals and groups
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative programs and services that meet the needs of the community
- Stay current on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in reference services

Requirements:
- Master's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an academic or public library setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of library reference tools, databases, and search strategies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to provide responsive, user-centered reference services to diverse populations

Salary: $1600 per month.

Location: La Condamine, Monaco.
