Formworker (Greenland)
As a Formworker in Greenland, you will be responsible for constructing and setting up formwork for concrete structures according to blueprints and specifications. You will work closely with engineers, carpenters, and other construction professionals to ensure the proper placement and alignment of formwork. This role requires a high level of physical fitness, as you will be required to lift and maneuver heavy materials. Additionally, you must have excellent attention to detail and be able to work accurately under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Constructing formwork using various materials such as wood, metal, or plastic
- Measuring and cutting formwork according to specifications
- Erecting and securing formwork around designated areas
- Checking formwork for accuracy and making adjustments as needed
- Pouring concrete into the formwork and smoothing it out
- Removing formwork once the concrete has set
- Cleaning and maintaining all tools and equipment used for formwork construction
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in formwork construction
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
- Physically fit with excellent upper body strength for lifting materials
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Salary:
Salary for this position is $1700 per month. Accommodation will be provided.
