Civil Engineer - Structural Design Specialist

As a Civil Engineer - Structural Design Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of various structures, such as buildings, bridges, and roads. Your primary role will be to ensure that these structures are safe, durable, and able to withstand environmental factors.

To excel in this role, you should possess a strong understanding of engineering principles and construction methods. You must also have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to effectively communicate your ideas and designs to a team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting site investigations to gather information for design purposes
- Preparing detailed design drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Analyzing survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects
- Performing complex calculations using specialized software to ensure structural integrity
- Collaborating with architects, construction contractors, and other professionals involved in the project
- Ensuring that all designs comply with relevant codes and regulations
- Overseeing the construction process to ensure adherence to design specifications

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural design
- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction methods
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely
- Knowledge of relevant codes and regulations

Preferred:
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Experience with large-scale projects
- Previous experience working on projects in Copenhagen

Salary: $1500 per month
