We are in need of a reliable and experienced Cashier to join our team at a busy retail store located in Braga, Portugal. This is a full-time position that requires previous cashier experience and the ability to handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Process transactions accurately using cash registers or other electronic systems
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds following store policies
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products, promotions, and store policies
- Keep track of inventory levels and report any discrepancies to the management team
- Follow all cash handling procedures to ensure the security of funds

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions
- Basic math skills for calculating prices, discounts, and change
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work full-time including weekends and holidays if needed

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with electronic cash registers or point-of-sale systems
- Bilingual proficiency (Portuguese/English) is a plus
