Part-Time Baker
Location: Faroe Islands, Denmark


We are a well-established bakery in the picturesque Faroe Islands seeking a part-time Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries and other baked goods according to our recipes and standards. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a professional bakery setting, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This is a part-time position with accommodation provided. Salary is $1400 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to established recipes
- Monitor oven temperatures and adjust baking times as needed
- Ensure all products are properly labeled with correct ingredients and dates
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in work area
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a professional baker in a bakery or similar setting
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays if needed

Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary or baking degree or certification preferred but not required
- Experience working with specialty diets such as gluten-free or vegan
- Familiarity with Danish pastry techniques
