We are in need of a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Aarhus, Denmark. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments used in industrial processes. This is a contract position with a salary of 1200$ per week.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician
- Strong knowledge of industrial instruments and their functions
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing instrumentation systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair various types of instruments used in industrial processes such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, etc.
- Troubleshoot issues with instrumentation systems and make necessary repairs or replacements
- Ensure all work is performed according to safety standards and regulations
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify solutions for complex problems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Vocational or technical degree in instrumentation or a related field
- Experience working on offshore oil rigs or within the petrochemical industry is a plus
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Willingness to work flexible hours and be on call for emergency repairs if needed
