Part-Time Instrument Technician
Location: Aarhus, Denmark
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team on a part-time basis in Aarhus. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating various instruments used in scientific research and industrial processes. Your main duties will include troubleshooting issues, performing preventive maintenance, and keeping detailed records of all work performed. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on a variety of instruments such as thermometers, gauges, flow meters, and analyzers
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments and develop solutions to ensure optimal functioning
- Conduct regular calibrations to ensure accuracy and reliability of instruments
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to management
- Follow safety protocols at all times while working with hazardous materials or in potentially dangerous environments
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to coordinate work schedules and resolve any conflicts that may arise
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in instrumentation preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in a similar setting
- Strong knowledge of various instruments used in scientific research or industrial processes
- Proficiency in troubleshooting techniques and ability to read technical manuals
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong record keeping abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Salary: $1200 per month (based on experience)
Working Hours: Part-time (20 hours per week)
