Job Title: Back-End Developer



We are a fast-growing tech company based in Roskilde and we are looking for a highly skilled Back-End Developer to join our team. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying the back-end of our web applications and ensuring their functionality. Your role will also involve collaborating with front-end developers and UI/UX designers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of web development principles and experience working with back-end languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby on Rails. You should also be familiar with database management systems like MySQL or MongoDB.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing the back-end of our web applications
- Writing efficient code that is scalable and maintainable
- Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues that arise in production environments
- Conducting system tests to ensure proper functionality
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation for future reference

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of back-end programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby on Rails
- Experience working with database management systems like MySQL or MongoDB
- Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of server-side templating languages such as Jinja2 or Handlebars.js
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to meet project deadlines
