Our restaurant, located in the picturesque city of Roskilde, Denmark, is seeking an Executive Chef to join our team for the upcoming season.

As our Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation and presentation, and maintaining high quality standards. You must have at least 5 years of experience working in reputable restaurants and possess strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Danish cuisine and be able to create innovative dishes that showcase the best of local produce. You must also have experience working with seasonal ingredients and be able to adapt menus accordingly. In addition, you must possess excellent organizational skills to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and seasonal menus that appeal to our customers
- Manage food inventory and control costs
- Supervise kitchen staff and provide training as needed
- Ensure food safety standards are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into menu planning

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in high-end restaurants
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Danish cuisine and use of seasonal ingredients
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Must be legally eligible to work in Denmark

This is a seasonal position with the potential for extension based on performance. We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per week and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and beautiful location.
