We are in need of a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Odense. As a DBA, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our database systems to ensure their efficiency, security, and reliability. Your duties will include monitoring database performance, troubleshooting issues, performing backups and recovery procedures, and implementing data security measures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database management systems and experience with SQL programming. Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Perform regular backups and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity
- Optimize database systems for maximum efficiency
- Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information
- Collaborate with software developers to design efficient database structures
- Develop SQL scripts to automate routine tasks
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in database technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
- Experience with SQL programming and query optimization
- Familiarity with backup and recovery procedures
- Knowledge of data security best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package of 1800$ per month for this position.

Location:
This position is based in Odense, Denmark. However, we are open to considering remote candidates from other countries who are willing to relocate.
