Librarian (Part-Time)
Location: Nakuru, Kenya

We are in search of a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian to join our team on a part-time basis. As a librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection of resources, assisting patrons with research and information needs, and maintaining the library's organization and systems. This position requires strong communication skills, as well as a passion for books and knowledge.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection of books, journals, and other resources
- Assist patrons with research and information needs
- Organize and maintain the library's cataloging system
- Develop displays and promotions to increase library usage
- Plan and organize events such as book clubs or author readings
- Train students on how to use library resources effectively
- Ensure that the library is clean, organized, and welcoming for patrons

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Experience working in a library setting preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English (fluency in Malayalam is a plus)
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Salary: 1400$ per month (pro-rated for part-time hours)
