Tiler (Egyptian or Nepali) in Eschen, Contract with Accommodation



We are in need of an experienced Tiler to join our team in Eschen. As a Tiler, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of tiles on different surfaces. This is a contract position with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled
- Cut tiles to size using hand or power tools
- Prepare surfaces by removing old tiles, grout, and adhesive
- Mix and apply mortar or other adhesives to secure tiles onto surfaces
- Align and straighten tiles using levels, squares, and straightedges
- Apply grout between tiles and clean excess grout from surface
- Install tile edging strips as needed
- Seal and waterproof tiled surfaces if required

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tiler or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or design plans
- Knowledge of different tile materials, patterns, and designs
- Familiarity with various tiling tools and equipment
- Physically fit with good manual dexterity
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Requirements:
- Egyptian or Nepali nationality preferred due to visa/work permit restrictions
- Fluency in English is required for communication on job sites
- Experience working on contract jobs is an asset
- Possession of a biometric passport for ease of travel
