IT Manager


We are hiring an IT Manager to oversee and manage our technology infrastructure in Faroe-Islands. As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all our information systems and technology-related processes. Your duties will include overseeing the installation, maintenance, and upgrading of hardware and software, managing a team of IT professionals, and providing technical support to all departments within the company.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of all hardware and software systems
- Manage a team of IT professionals and delegate tasks as needed
- Develop and implement technology strategies to improve efficiency and productivity
- Provide technical support to all departments within the company
- Ensure the security and integrity of all information systems
- Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement
- Stay up-to-date with new technology trends and make recommendations for upgrades or changes
- Manage vendor relationships for hardware, software, and other IT services

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Proven work experience as an IT Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of network administration, databases, and system security
- Experience with server management, virtualization technologies, cloud computing
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Solid project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-tech individuals

Salary: $1500 per month

Location: Faroe Islands (Relocation assistance not provided)

Contract Type: Full-time
