Android Developer

We are hiring an experienced Android Developer to join our team in the beautiful city of Faroe Islands. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. You will work closely with our team of designers and developers to create innovative solutions that meet the needs and expectations of our clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the latest Android development trends and technologies, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. This is a contract position with accommodation provided. Biometric passport is preferred but not required. Women are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions
- Ensure code quality through unit testing and code reviews
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in Android development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio of successful projects
- Proficient in Java, Kotlin, or other relevant programming languages
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs for connecting mobile applications to back-end services
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Biometric passport preferred but not required

Salary:
$1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)
