QA Engineer for Software Testing in Balzers, Liechtenstein

As a QA Engineer for Software Testing in Balzers, Liechtenstein, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. Your main duties will include developing and executing test plans, identifying and reporting bugs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software. You will also be involved in the continuous improvement of our testing processes and tools. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with various testing methodologies. This is a full-time position that offers a salary of $1500 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans to identify software defects
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand project requirements
- Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools
- Perform regression testing to ensure proper functioning of previously identified issues
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code is being delivered
- Continuously improve testing processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Communicate project status and any potential roadblocks or issues to relevant stakeholders

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a QA engineer or software tester
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies (e.g. black-box, white-box, regression)
- Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g. JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g. Java, C++, Python)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills in English (German language skills would be a plus)
