Housekeeping Supervisor



We are seeking a responsible and dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring that they meet company standards and providing a comfortable environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train a team of cleaners to ensure efficient and high-quality service
- Create work schedules and assign tasks to team members
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back of house areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hygiene standards
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering new supplies as needed
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of tasks such as guest room turn-down service or laundry services
- Handle guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping services in a prompt and professional manner
- Perform regular inspections of equipment and facilities, reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate department
- Monitor expenses related to housekeeping operations, ensuring they stay within budget guidelines

Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning services, preferably in a supervisory role
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning products and equipment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear instructions and feedback to team members
- Physical stamina for performing manual labor such as lifting heavy objects or standing for long periods of time
- Attention to detail with a strong focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Fluency in English (Portuguese language skills are a plus)

Salary: 1200$ per month
