Welder


We are currently hiring for the position of Welder in our company located in Akron, Ohio. As a Welder, you will be responsible for joining metal parts through welding, brazing or soldering to create a variety of structures and products. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1000 per week.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and other technical drawings
- Determine the appropriate welding techniques and methods based on the type of metal and project requirements
- Operate welding equipment such as manual or semi-automatic welding machines, gas torches or plasma arc welders
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards
- Conduct repairs or modifications as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols while working in potentially hazardous environments

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in welding
- Strong understanding of different welding techniques and methods
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Familiarity with various welding equipment and tools
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work within tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in welding from an accredited institution
- Experience with MIG, TIG, or stick welding techniques
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations
