Data Analytics Specialist


We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Data Analytics Specialist to join our team in Funchal. As a specialist in data analytics, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large sets of data to identify trends and insights that will drive business decisions. Responsibilities:
- Gather, clean, and organize large sets of data from various sources
- Use statistical methods to analyze data and identify patterns or trends
- Develop visualizations and dashboards to present complex data in an easy-to-understand format
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and create solutions
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders using non-technical language
- Monitor data quality and accuracy to ensure reliable analysis

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficient in SQL, Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
- Experience with Tableau or other visualization tools preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into understandable insights for non-technical stakeholders

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month for this contract position.

Location:
This position is based in Funchal but we welcome candidates from all nationalities.
