Contract Tutor - Funchal, Portugal


We are currently hiring for a Contract Tutor to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality educational support to students of all ages and levels. Responsibilities:
- Develop personalized lesson plans and curriculum tailored to individual student needs
- Provide effective instruction and support in various subjects, including but not limited to Math, Science, Language Arts, and Foreign Languages
- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage and motivate students
- Collaborate with other tutors and teachers to ensure consistency in teaching practices and student development
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress reports

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years experience teaching/tutoring students in a school or private setting
- Strong knowledge in multiple subject areas
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to adapt teaching methods based on individual learning styles
- Proficient in using technology for instruction (e.g. interactive whiteboards, online learning platforms)
- Must have own valid work visa for Portugal

Salary:
Salary for this position is $1100 per month. Additional benefits may be offered based on experience and qualifications.
